back when i was a jw and an attendent at the km.

i was looking at everyone sitting there at the meetings.

it was amazing when i realized that the majority of married couples that where sitting there had either mean married to someone else before, or had sex with other people before they had got into the "tooth.

It was amazing when I realized that the majority of married couples that where sitting there had either mean married to someone else before, or had sex with other people before they had got into the "tooth." It seems that the average or "normal" person has had more then one sexual partner in there life time.

That being said.

Why is sex such a big deal? This seems to be one of the biggest problems among Jehovah's Witnesses, sex with unmarried people or married people having sex with other single or marrried people.

Does this god of theirs really care that much about who people are having sex with?

The same god who had no problem with "his kings" having multiple sex partners/wifes... His holy men having sex with his own daughters ect. ect....ect.

So here you are... your 19 years old and you married the wrong person... big surprize.... now what?

Well....your loving god has given you a way out....Adultery!....Look around most the people you know have had sex with more than one person.....encluding elders, kings and holy men!

Why be married to an ass hole? Take advanage of Jehovah's loving provision....He has created this way out for you!....enjoy!

PS. Question for any brave souls....How many sex partners have you had in or out of the "Borg?"

get this: she called me up to tell me a well dressed man came to her house and actually invited her for dinner, a "meal" at the local kingdom hall on the memorial evening.. he gave her the invitation to enjoy the meal with him and quite a few other people on the night the "meal" was being served.. i explained to her that the dinner only consisted of wine and unleavened bread and that she could only watch the bread and wine being passed but if she got a hold of the plate or the cup she had to just give it the next person.. she asked, "you mean there's no dinner like he said?

" i answered there was not.

and she said, "then forget it then!"..

we are great friends now....but he wasn't much of a father growing up.. worked all the time...we went on few vacations....pretty much pussy whipped my my nazis jw mother.. he never did believe in the whole jw thing.

he just when along with it, for my mothers sake.. she never did respect him for not being a "spiritual head" and pretty much let us kids know about it.. i, like my mother became very self rightious and judgmental.. i wished now he had just came to me just once and said "keith maybe the jws are not the people you think they are.

" but he was to afraid of my mother to say that...even though he knew it to be true.i would have never believed him....back then....but it would have planted a seed.... .

It's funny how this thread got reposted....

Because my relationship with my father has changed since I first posted this thread.

I haven't talked to him in 6 months. He will be 89 years old next month if he lives. He is in bad health and will be dead any day now.

I have decided to take my own advice and choose option 2, that of rejection of any person or behavior that is harmfull...

Anyone here have any experience with the "super-natural"?

and if so, would that prove an existence of evil-spirits (demons)?.

i have heard of a couple of stories of possession, or of jw's talking to spiritists and the spiritists having seen 2 men following the jw, either dressed all in black, or all in white, and very strong looking.

yet, i have never experienced any of it.. another experience that i heard is about a brother whose mom had super-natural strength, and tossed something really heavy.

NDEs Are Not Satanic

Skeptical members of the clergy and organizations, such as the Christian Research Institute, are often highly critical of NDEs and view them as a tremendous threat to the Christian faith and their parishes. They accuse the Being of Light to be a sinister lying devil masquerading as an angel of light preaching a different gospel because he isn't interested in theology at all. These critics - who are still our brothers - servants with flames of fire are zealous defenders of the Christian tradition and this is good. But their uninformed criticism of the profound and lofty divine revelations found in the NDE is very dangerous. It is equivalent to rushing into forbidden labyrinths where angels fear to tread.

This kind of misunderstanding is often the result of judging spiritual ideas by a narrow interpretation of the Bible rather than by the method given in the Bible. The Bible teaches us to test all the spirits to see whether or not they are of God because not all spirits come from God. How do we test the spirits? When Jesus was accused of performing miracles by the spirit of the devil, Jesus replied that a tree is judged by its fruit. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Nor can a good tree bear bad fruit. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, etc. With this in mind, you can judge for yourself whether a particular spirit discussed here is a bad tree or a good tree. If there is an absence of the good fruit of love, joy and peace, then you know the spirit is not of God and is a bad tree. If there is an abundance of the good fruit of love, joy and peace, then you know the spirit is true and is a good tree. This is not a matter to be taken lightly. Either a near-death experience shows Jesus to be a demonic lying spirit of evil who bears only the rotting fruit of Satanic hatred for everyone; or, a near-death experience shows Jesus to be a good tree bearing the Holy Spirit's fruit of love, joy and peace. There is no middle ground so choose wisely. After Jesus told his accusers to judge a tree by its fruit, he then taught them about the seriousness of blasphemy and attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to the devil.

What was your most embarassing WTF experience with a fanatical witness??

we've all known those fanatical witnesses who are guilty of pdf (public display of faith) and always have to make a big song and dance to the whole world and let everyone and their dog know they're a faithful witness of jay hoover!.

1) when my mother first came in 'da troooof' this wacky, over zealous 'sister' was studying with her - you know the type.

this woman was one of those not so subtle individuals who would always talk loud in conversation and say the name jehovah a million times even when the conversation could have been about basketball.

After 52 years in the "Borg" where to begin?

One of the sadist moments in the Field service was in R.I. in 1976 I was with a Circuit Overseer. I wish I knew his name.

We came to this door where we meet the nicest lady. He went into his pitch. After reading a scripture on how god wanted only people to worship him with "spirit and truth." He asked the nice lady what church she attended. She told him. To which he said "well....that church doesn't worship God in spirit and truth!" He then reads some other scripture to prove his point about her church. Then he ask her "if she knows what happens to people who don't worship god with spirit and truth?" Before she can answer he reads something in Revelation about how "god will kill all the unfaith at Armegeddon"...Then he read her something about the meaning of hell.

You should have seen the look on this poor women's face. With in 5 mins. he had met this lovely women comdemed her to death and sent her to hell!

I have been with crack pots in service before but he was a C.O. for christ sake.

I thought how come someone's eteral life ever be judged on what some stupid jerk said to them at the door...

this has probably been discussed here before, but i'm new so sue me.. i think the religion of jehovah's witnesses has been an amazing but tragic social experiment proving that the mind is most vulnerable to brainwashing when it's in an unhealthy state.

it seems to attract the bipolar, schizophrenic, depressive, and the paranoid.

it preys on negative emotions like sorrow and fear.

Sorry just kidding actually it was my father having sex with my mentally unstable mother that got me in.

She ran the whole weird show... she believed the world was a bad place everything in it.

So when she found out that there was a religion that believed in a god who would soon kill (most) everyone she was elated!!!
